I am currently a fourth-year Public Health Policy major at the University of California, Irvine. I am looking to shadow a physician or physician assistant to help close the disparities that low-income and immigrant families face. I am passionate about the healthcare field, and coming from a low-income community, I'd like to be a part of the change.I aided in launching the Zot out hunger meal swipes program, where students can access free nutritious food. I also provided information regarding the hundreds of food distribution locations in Southern California. I am currently proposing a space where business casual wear is provided to students for free to help close the gaps that keep high-achieving students from their career goals.I am working at Bayha Group and give back to students from my high school and try to connect them with resources that I think are valuable. Help them learn the confidence they need to join the workforce. I help empower students to achieve their higher education goals.I was a sales representative at the Maria Galli State Farm Agency. I helped translate to customers in Spanish and explain to them their policies. I also had to cold-call potential customers to help increase revenue for the business.
