Participant in the Eugenio Garza Sada Global Leadership Program whose mission is to develop compassionate, conscious, courageous and radically humble leaders. I developed a project with other students focused on food waste reduction.

I participated in the development of a biofungicide from grape pomace, the main waste from the wine industry. As a team we identified a business opportunity and applied circular economy principles to propose a product that had a positive social and environmental impact. Another achievement was that we reached the regional phase in the 2022 Heineken Green Challenge.

I participated in the TecCCM team as a project leader in the largest international synthetic biology competition: iGEM Competition. Some of my responsibilities involved the management and supervision of activities, as well as direct communication with the team and external agents. I was also involved in the validation of the project with the community and sectors involved. Due to the excellence of the project we were awarded a gold medal.

I was team leader of BioTec-CCM, first team on our campus, which participated in the Latinamerica synthetic biology competition iGEM Design League. I was responsible for coordinating, supervising and monitoring the different activities and areas for the project. I also worked in the human practices area, which focused on the social impact of the project. In the competition as a team we were acknowledged with a golden medal and we also won also third place.
