AccumTech was created by Part D Advisors in 2014 to focus on our services available to healthcare providers and carriers. With the changing landscape under the Affordable Care Act and modernization of the health marketplace, health plans demand a sophisticated and holistic view of their plan management to help offer cutting-edge value to members while maintaining reasonable cost containment.As the Lead of the business, I am charged with our long-term strategy, running our day-to-day operations, managing our partnerships with key customers & prospects. My true passion is leading the charge on our mission, culture, strategy and projections. Then we add to that our financial reports, updates on strategy and our view of changes in the marketplace are regularly reported to our Board of Directors so that business priorities can be determined.Our team includes analysts that manage our ongoing client needs, software developers to build our tools & customer software, IT staff to manage our infrastructure, project teams to keep it all organized and sales efforts to move our business forward. Our growing, agile business allows us to maneuver through changing requirements quickly to reduce the stress of their implementation by letting us handle the data management and interoperability.

As I have been with Part D Advisors since it was formed in 2005, I was responsible for the creation and development of the greater Business Development Team.This department includes our IT components that are separated into 3 groups: Software Services, Business Analysis and Infrastructure Services. Additionally, this expands to all developing product lines including the Early Retiree Reinsurance Program and Retiree Drug Subsidy Reopenings.Additionally, this includes our Implementation Team who is responsible for the development and support of marketing materials, oversight & continuous improvement of our business processes and the implementation of new client and partnership projects.Beyond building and developing these teams and their team members, this also includes creating a direction and process for these teams. Each of these teams was designed, grown and processes have been built to support and manage their work. I currently supervise these efforts and review progress with each of the team managers.In addition to the efforts on the currently running programs, I am consistently executive management to identify new lines of business, new opportunities and develop special projects and analysis to support these endeavors. As a small, agile business we are constantly looking to develop key partnerships and product lines and I am happy to lead those efforts.

Complete management of PDA's IT department included managing team members in 3 different segments: 1) Software Services: This included the design of internal software systems, tools, quality assurance measurements and business logic used for data processing and information management. 2) Business Analysis: This team focused on managing vendor relationships, setting up and viewing external data feeds and performing ad hoc data mining and data management tasks. 3) Systems Infrastructure: This team was responsible for the management of all internal IT systems. This team managed the internal, virtual server configuration, interfaces with cloud systems, data transmission to offsite backups as well as all local and remote PCs, VPNs and peripheral devices.In addition to a hands-on management of these teams that included leadership, design assistance and organization, I was responsible for the personnel management. This included all aspects of identifying talent, designing the setup of these teams and making general changes to their organization as needed. This also included the interviewing, hiring and overall reviewing of all team managers and assisting in the review of individual team members.
