I founded Instrowest in July 06 to provide instrumentation sales and service to clients in the NE Goldfields of WA. Instrowest now services clients throughout WA, from the Kimberly to the Great Southern and we are starting to develop clients interstate.Developing Instrowest has been a rewarding experience and has allowed me to develop skills in strategic business planning and development. I have developed a set of core values that govern the way we do business and underpins our policies and procedures.New business ventures are always exciting and we are currently developing new products to fit the needs of the local industry. We are also starting to import new products to better service the industry and our clients.In my time at Instrowest we have also been working closely with our suppliers, and we are now authorized resellers for two of the major instrumentation companies in the world. We are also service agents for other manufactures.I have in-depth knowledge of process's commonly used with the mining and mineral processing industries and have worked with clients to develop improved field measurement and control principle’s. Instrowest has allowed me participate in Instrumentation design, product selection, plant commissioning, shutdown planning and execution.Instrowest can provide a comprehensive installation, maintenance, calibration, and repair service to all sites within Western Australia. At Instrowest we are committed to providing reliable, high quality sales and service while maintaining respect, integrity and trust to our clients and those within our organization. We aim to provide this service by understanding our client’s needs, wants and constraints while finding a solution that is fit for purpose. Responsible for the Electrical Instrumentation maintenance on the Metallurgy fixed plant. LNO is a nickel sulphide operation consisting of crushing, milling, separate size floatation plant, concentrate and tailings thickening, Larox filter pressing, flash drying circuit and Train load out.I started as a Technician in 2002, when I left in 2006 I was senior member of the maintenance team and often relief co-ordinated the Metallurgy maintenance workshop, responsible for daily maintenance.At LNO I regularly assisted with planning the E/I maintenance for planed outages, and was responsible for supervising both the full time and contract E/I’s during these outages.
