As an Assistant Principal in Atlanta Public Schools, I support our school's vision by managing daily operations, fostering student discipline, and ensuring the effective implementation of the curriculum. I collaborate with the Principal and administrative team to cultivate and sustain a positive and thriving learning environment for all students and staff.I have an EdS. in Educational Leadership, an MEd. in Early Childhood Education, and a BBA. in Marketing, which provide me with a diverse and rich background of experiences and skills. I am passionate about empowering educators and championing the academic growth and well-being of all students through a data-driven, collaborative, and student-centered approach. I have demonstrated my core competencies in project planning, communication, coaching and mentoring, and data analysis in various roles, such as District Student Support Specialist (MTSS Cluster Lead), teacher of elementary grades, Instructional Liaison Specialist, Instructional Coach, and MTSS Specialist. In these roles, I have developed and implemented intervention and remediation strategies, monitored school and district compliance requirements, analyzed formative data elements, honed my instructional skills, guided and inspired fellow educators, enhanced instructional practices, and addressed the diverse needs of students.
