I am a radiation protection expert with extensive experience in ensuring the safety of people and installations against exposure to ionizing and non-ionizing radiation. I primarily work as a consultant in Molise, collaborating with hospitals, clinics, and research institutions, but I also offer my services in other regions of Italy and abroad. I am the founder of Rateon Srl, a company specialized in radiation protection, health physics, and electronics.I hold a Master's Degree in Electronic Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Biomedical Physics from the University of Naples "Federico II." These qualifications have provided me with a strong theoretical and practical foundation, which I have successfully applied in various professional contexts.Since 2015, I have been collaborating with the IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency) as an External Expert, participating in international missions in West Africa. In this role, I focus on training and supervising the implementation of radiation safety regulations. Additionally, I serve as a Professor of Radiation Protection at the University of Rome “La Sapienza,” where I share my expertise with the next generation of professionals.My career in electronic engineering has developed across complex and diverse sectors. I have made significant contributions to the automotive sector, working on projects that required advanced skills in electronic diagnostics, embedded systems design, and technical problem-solving. These experiences have allowed me to develop a deep understanding of electronic systems and their applications in high-tech industrial contexts.Furthermore, I had the opportunity to serve at the Médecins Sans Frontières Operational Center in Brussels, where I conducted engineering and technical support activities in an international and multicultural environment. There, I worked on complex projects that required not only technical expertise but also the ability to manage resources and operations in challenging settings. This experience enabled me to combine my engineering skills with strong adaptability and management capabilities in humanitarian contexts.I am continuously engaged in specialized training and collaborations with research institutes and international organizations, including the IAEA and the JRC, which allow me to stay at the forefront of my field and actively contribute to global radiation safety.
