• Lead development and commissioning of new pack and module testers (Functional/Hipot/Capacity) for legacy SX,M3Y and P2 battery lines.• Ensure effective communication with cross functional teams: Facilities, Testing, NPI, Operations,Process, Quality, Manufacturing.• Identify risks, determine actions and assign resources on JIRA according to corporation businesspriorities. Execute control equipment handover procedures.• Evaluate feedback from the core team to improve efficiency on lines: Availability (Uptime vsdowntime), Accuracy (FPY/LPY), Cycle time (Test time).• Strategy development for testers BOM with internal and external shareholders in order to ensuresmooth and flawless deployments for future projects.•Vendor Sourcing / FAT / SAT follow up.• Lead ISO 9001 Equipment Calibration Documentation.

-Overall responsibility for the successful execution of Purchasing projects in order to achieve the project objectives concerning costs, quality and timing Coordination of project team members, customers, internal and external development partners, suppliers and production facilities.-Negotiate quantities, prices, delivery times, and delivery conditions within the authorization related with the position. Beyond this, prepare requested documentation, support negotiations and initiate internal decisions.-Generate price comparisons with the goal to optimize the supply situation, initiate VA/VE activities, validations, etc.-Implement purchase strategies and participate in the development of suppliers. Ensure in-time availability of components in right quality fulfilling the cost targets. Clarify the technical requirements and quality requirements based on drawings, specifications etc. Select suppliers for RFQ process. Initiate technical verification. Initiate VA/VE activities. Follow-up deliveries.-Functional leadership of the project team where purchasing has the lead Planning and assigning work packages to the team while monitoring and controlling the progress Project reporting and presentation to management committees Create and maintain transparency within the project.

-Develop, improve and maintain BOM and supplier tooling cost for new project launches.-Effective negotiation with direct material suppliers in terms of piece price, tooling costs, business incentives, consignment, annual price discounts and savings.-Develop and execute strategic negotiations plans, helped by ROE and NPV calculation on every program to meet corporation goals.-Accomplish programs milestones and ensure good communication with global core team and suppliers.

-Lead new product development global team on feasibility stage by assuring quality , cost optimization and launch new platforms on time. Teams involved- Product design and manufacturing engineering / Sales & market demand.-Lead new product introduction to manufacturing by managing product design and manufacturing engineering , quality , distribution & supply chain , production and process engineering team.-Direct communication with customers (OEM´S, TIER 1) to implement engineering changes , detect and solve problems during any stage assuring a smooth production launch and sustaining.-Conduct run @ rate trial with core team to assure repeatability and reproducibility of the process before it is released to production.-Ensure all the teams reach their KPI´S goals such as yield, scrap, budged, and Takt time by analyzing output data from trials, provide feedback and require resources if needed.-Conduct trials, collect data and route manufacturing launch approval.-Forecast demand to evaluate capacity to determine if a ramp up is needed to meet company goals.

-Launch of new programs by supporting the following activities: -Lead core team meetings: identify problems , determine actions and assign resources. -Documnet required test and quality reports for prototype and build according to APQP standard. -Assure project cost do not exceed budgeted CAPex by optimize expenses on critical components such as tooling and machinery. -Provide required documentation by customer in order to release payment to Nemak for provided services.-Ensure proper execution of quality documentation test and milestones.-Collect data from trials, analyze and provide feedback to detect and solve problems prior launch of the program-Secure customer satisfaction by assuring process stability, quality , Takt time within requirements , etc.
