Assistant Amp-Administrator
Current• Supervise and manage entire Housing Site including tasks such as forwarding invoices, completing annual re-certifications, and conducting unit inspections• Resolve emergencies swiftly and effectively when they arise, such as when units lose power due to tropical storms or elevators breakdown• Design and distribute important flyers for when there would be pest extermination, fire-alarm tests, and social events• Procure maintenance materials, contractors, and other outside materials/services following PHCD guidelines for my Supervisor to approve to send off• Monitor elevators to make sure they are functioning properly and contact vendor to make repairs when needed• Complete important functions such as interims, repayment agreements, conferences, 30-Day notices, and evictions when necessary• Administer work orders and tenant’s requests to improve the properties in AMP 9 (Department’s Tracking System)• Prepare work order forms and other documents to secure public housing buildings• Perform move out inspections and recorded any evidence of damages to be repaired• Supervise and monitors an office alone making sure phone calls are answered, residents are attended to, and records are filed and secured properly• Perform various administrative tasks, i.e. distributes work orders, scheduling move-ins, move-outs, and unit transfers• Follow Public Housing Guidelines and do assignments according to the MDPH Guidebook• Receive training on annual guideline and future procedure changes to be used while managing• Perform other office administrative tasks while supervisor is out• Answer phone calls from tenants, contractors, and maintenance personnel
