• Work collaboratively with sites for continuous development of ITC policies, procedures, and work instructions• Keep abreast of changes in Trade Regulations – including export, import, sanctions, and embargoes in the US and other countries in which TDG businesses operate• Monitor lessons learned and guidance as published by regulators – consolidate, digest, and flow that information to TDG businesses, and update Policies and Procedures accordingly• Serve as the Corporate ITC Point of Contact for business unit Presidents and Site ITC Leads, including regular site visits and provision of guidance and support specific to each business• Prepare and present training – yearly in-person North America, European, and Asia conferences and monthly online sessions.  Training topics include, but are not limited to, determination of HS classifications, country of origin, and customs valuation, determining Free Trade Agreement claims• Stay informed of new, amended, or proposed regulations to determine the impact to TransDigm business objectives and assist in implementing necessary program changes

• Work closely with other members of the Global Trade Compliance (GTC) team to review, audit, classify and manage the system of parts and products globally• Build and maintain expeditious and accurate communication flows between internal and external customers regarding customs classification process• Participate in the development of training with the purpose of educating various internal groups on the tariff classification system. Provide guidance and training to GTC on how to access data, classify, run reports and share data. Provide guidance to the greater community on the classification system to meet specific business needs• Contribute to the development of other global trade compliance initiatives identified in support of trade facilitation and regulatory compliance • Support the daily trade compliance operations, including clearance of shipments by working with various business organizations and providing compliance information and instruction to the customs brokers• Assist with various projects involving ERP and GTS implementation
