The site allows users to search spectrum, list spectrum and provides different ways to sell or buy the spectrum. The site can be viewed here http://www.specex.com.• I was part of all phases of the development including creating and adding to the backend using SQL Server 2005/2008R2, building the Data access and business layers. • I was responsible to assist with the junior developers through code review meetings going over best practices and development styles.• Designed many web pages with the use of Ajax and other controls.• Automated the source data to import and run updates on a nightly basis using a C# windows application.• We were selected by the FCC to become a database provider to handle the TV band (whitespace) spectrum. My responsibilities were to create an automated way to create the TV contours and store the information in the database. I also assisted with business logic layer and some web interfaces.• Our recent project has been putting together uAccess, an android phone application interacting with a c# rest service and SQL 2008 R2 on the backend. http://uaccess.spectrumbridge.com• Things I worked on: Designing the framework and structure for the site. Assisting with the creation of the database design of tables. Writing the business logic utilizing LINQ to SQL. Creating web controls, web forms and utilizing Sitefinity as our CMS framework.

Application DeveloperDirect Mail Express Aug 2001 - Dec 2004Daytona Beach, Florida, UsI maintained and designed a multimillion record database on SQL Server 2000. The data was manipulated using stored procedures and T-SQL queries to be mailed out to customers on a regular basis. Under my direction, the total production time went from 26 hours to 4 hours. Created client applications in visual basic 6.0 to provide users access to manipulate data and generate reports. Part of team that designed framework for internal manual processes to be automated and or used in client applications. Created an online system using ASP.NET (C#) for the internal list-ordering department, which saves over 5 hours a week. This process stopped manual transfer of paperwork and handwriting errors.
