So about me. I’m an experienced IT professional that has worked at some pretty amazing jobs, with amazing people, and at amazing companies, but I’m not ready to stop yet. Everywhere I’ve worked, I’ve thought it as a relationship and a commitment. If you invest in me then I am going to work really hard for you. I will be there, consistently, actively engaged in the work, doing what needs to be done to be successful. I’m serious and also, not serious. We don’t need to be so serious all the time.Some highlights of my career:• I lived, for a short time, and worked in Ireland for a publishing company.• I worked in the science and research industry for a company that was conducting research for nuclear waste disposal and worked with some brilliant minds.• I helped create a company that was one of three internet startups that provided service to the city of San Antonio.• I helped get an engineering company advertising on the internet for the first time.• I worked for Sun Microsystems, Inc. at their peak and supported several major companies and military contractors in San Antonio.• I work for USAA and support the infrastructure that provides invaluable services to the members of the military and their families. So, what do I do for work-life balance? I spend as much time as I can with my family. Right now, enjoying my granddaughter when I can. We try to vacation when we can as well, as a couple and sometimes as a whole extended family. There’s nothing better than hearing the sound of your family when they are all together, and laughing.
