Duties included control of design, specification, material and equipment procurement, and management of fabrication, installation, start-up, trouble-shooting, and operations training of client employees. Process Engineer: Process Design Engineering for a major engineering consultant to the pulp & paper industry. Projects included non- condensable gas systems and odor control scrubbers, and waste water systems for large pulp & paper processing plants. As Design Lead in a 3-month study to design and install total-recycle zero discharge waste water treatment systems in over 20 corrugating and OCC recycle mills. Successful completion of Preliminary Design (to PFD stage) for first three systems, using minimal staff and completing early, led to award of contract for the next group of over 20 systems.
