    Part of an Individual Research Project, which helped me gain a lot of wide experience – industrial oriented especially on Computer Skills having prior worked on MS Office, Excel – Programming (Macros and VBA) for calculations of loading actions acting on any kind of Structure eg-Wing structural components –which includes Spars, ribs. Skin stringers, Hull Structural components – Bulkheads and Longerons etc. The research aimed at designing an idealized wing box structure of a Boeing 737 and Eurofighter Typhoon wing box structure on using two FEA tools for the Structural reinforcement of the wing box structure using Strand 7 and MSC Patran along with Abaqus for Linear static analysis of the Spars – C channel Beam on applying the load.The purpose to choose two FEA tools for the designing of the wing box structure was to predict which FEA tool is the best to use and provides accuracy in results. This project helped me gain a expertise level of skills on using the tools Patran and Strand 7 to design the wing box structure from scratch and proceed ahead for further research in Global FEA.- Linear Static analysis. which includes to Material selection, Applying Loads & Boundary Conditions, finally Retrieve, analyse and compare results( Spatial Fields, Airloads and ‘g’ force acceleration ).The tool Abaqus was used partially only for the comparative study of the C-channel Beam deflection on application of loads and comparing the results with the remaining two tools – Strand 7 and MSC Patran. This project helped me a gain a very high level of expertise in using the Engineering Software FEA tools, as equivalent to applying in an Aerospace Industry practically. It was indeed a very good opportunity for me to be a part of this research at Cranfield University, in turn helped me gain skills to a very high level of competency, when working in an industry.
