Assist the President and Chief Executive Officer in such duties as may be assigned or delegated to implement services designed to meet the various needs of all elements relating to Urban Prep Academies. Regularly required to resolve complex administrative problems independently while performing tasks that are diverse and advanced. May be required to work occasional overtime and weekends. Responsibilities:Handling confidential information which would have immediate negative impact on the company operations, performance, or value if shared beyond the intended audience.Demonstration a high degree of professionalism, initiative, and independence in supporting the CEO on a wide variety of complex issues.Assisting the CEO in the timely management of all communications, both written and via telephone.Using initiative to handle a wide variety of administrative support duties, managing complex calendars, arranging meeting/travel.Arranging for and schedule appointments for the CEO as requested; supervising the preparation of materials for meetings as appropriate; coordinate appointments, meetings and speaking engagements for the CEO as designated.Maintaining liaison with all levels of administration and faculty to coordinate and resolve problems and issues related to administrative matters of internal and external nature as needed.Serve as a resource to Urban Prep AcademiesPerforming other related duties incidental to the work described herein

The Student Development Committee is a standing committee of the Academic Council of the School of Education. Committee members are chosen by their Affinity Group faculty and serve through their program completion. The Committee has the following charge:Develop policy and processes for the Student Activity Fee FundReview and approve funding requestsAssist in planning and delivering the School of Education Research SymposiumAssist with the new student orientationServe as liaisons for student concerns and issuesElect student representation on the Academic Council

Offered support to persons who display mental retardation in group home settings.Assisting the program's Manager in client admission and discharge from the program.Coordinating client needs assessment.Planning, directing, monitoring and evaluating service delivery while coordinating with other service providers.Supervising six to eight Educator/Counselors.

Assisted in the planning and implementation of the annual Executive's Conference.Designed and prepared marketing material for several intellectual properties in development.Conducted registration process for event with more than 200 invitees.Performed several other tasks as directed by agency supervisor.
