Alfred Akhere is a motivated and ambitious junior at Cornell University pursuing a major in Industrial and Labor Relations, with an interest in entertainment law (in particular, music law) - and its intersection with common legal practices such as intellectual property law and contracts. With this passion, he yearns to improve the entertainment system, and provide a proper experience for current artists - and for creatives to come.As an eager student, he is currently involved in various clubs and organizations on campus, such as the Co-Vice President of Professional Development of S.W.A.G. (Students' Working Ambitiously to Graduate), and a Student Leadership Coordinator for Cornell University's Undergraduate Admissions Committee. To add, he has gained crucial professional experience as a Climate Policy Intern for the Interfaith Center on Corporate Responsibility, and continues to obtain important legal skills as a member of the Alpha Alpha class of Kappa Alpha Pi (KAPi), and a member of the Unum Imperium class of the Black Ivy Pre-Law Society.Feel free to reach out to Alfred Akhere by connecting with him, or privately via email at: eaa63@cornell.edu
