I am a hard-working, diligent, easy to teach and quick to learn metrology professional who loves what I do! I first became involved in metrology nearly 30 years ago when I was a member of the United States Air Force, and I have grown to enjoy the profession while becoming more and more capable as I have moved up the ladder into positions of increased responsibility. Not only do I enjoy my work but I am also capable of leading team members in a way that helps them follow metrology principles and procedures thus ensuring work is done efficiently and correctly. Beyond the calibrations and repairs that I perform on a regular basis I am also fully capable of writing procedures in a way that can be understood by others so consistency becomes a part of what the entire team does. Performing the job is one thing, but having the documentation to verify what is being done is almost as important as the tasks themselves because having written guidelines is what assures the work is being done in a quality manner. I’m certain that any company gets an abundance of applications from qualified candidates for each job. However, I feel equally comfortable that a smaller number of candidates exist who are able to combine knowledge, experience, leadership, documentation and an dedication to making sure the job is done.
