As someone who has excelled at Information Systems coursework, I am confident in my skills to transition into the professional world. My overall 2.8 academic GPA reflects my growth during my time at Cal State Fullerton. I started as a Computer Engineering major, then changed to Business Administration (Marketing). I had no clear idea for my future, however when I took an IS core course that every business major must take, I found a challenge, and something that I excelled in. My concentration GPA of 3.2 is the true representation of what I can deliver to an Organization. In the upper level courses is where I most succeeded and earned the highest grades. For example, ISDS 406 (Systems Analysis and Design) is one of the toughest courses in the IS program and I earned an A in that course. Now that I have found Information Systems as the perfect career path for me, my skills and knowledge have been on an upward trend, and I am confident I can contribute to an Organization and continue to grow.
