Creation from scratch in July 2012 a full new Samsung R&D Centre in Spain, including everything needed to set it up completely (new office, full engineering team recruiting, organizational model, projects and strategy definition, key R&D partners collaborations like Telefónica, business coordination for best value creation, etc...)

After a very intense work during its first years this R&D centre achieved to be an active agent in the innovation and technology road-map to create innovative software that maximizes on Samsung products the latest technologies such as IoT (Internet of Things), Big Data, Mobile Payments, AR (augmented reality) & VR (virtual reality), Intelligent Assistants, AI (artificial intelligence), Security & Privacy, convergence, enhanced UX/UI, etc...

Research and Development on latest trends, innovations and advanced technologies to maximize Samsung value in the market, contributing to the decision-making process for next generation technologies, contents and services.

Strategic monitoring, analysis and collaboration with the most innovative start-ups (EU & LatAm) whose technology combined with Samsung technology could became something highly relevant, valuable and profitable.
