This DVD was produced by Dr. Ricks to help the general public learn to read an EKG. It does not result in expert interpretation at the level of an experienced physician, but to learn to see important abnormalities and their meanings.
The videos and documents are the same videos and documents available separately from us. Reading the EKG, Lacerations and Suturing, Sexually Transmitted Diseases, and Anatomy Overview are still available separately as a DVD product. Details about each video can be found listed with each specific video product. This DVD-ROM Disk contains zipped files of the WMV video files and PDF documents for use on the computer. The videos are windows media videos files on a dvd-rom. This is not a dvd video. The video files can be viewed on a windows media player or a wmv compatible computer video player. The video files can also be viewed on an ipad with a wmv video player app. The pdf documents require Adobe Acrobat Reader to view. Acrobat Reader may already be on your computer. If not, it can be downloaded free at www.adobe.com. The Incredible Medical School videos are for the general public. Educational and fun for kids and adults. Great for encouraging children’s interest in the medical field or stimulating children that are already interested in the medical field. Parents purchase these videos for their children and find themselves also using them. Perfect for science students in home schools, public schools, and colleges.
