Alfred J. Susilo, completed his Doctorate in Civil Engineering with specialization in Geotechnical Engineering at University of Kentucky, Lexington, KY in 2016. With more than 15 years of experience in the field, including his Master’s Degree from McNeese State University in Lousiana (Lake Charles, LA) and Bachelor’s Degree (Tarumanegara University in Jakarta, Indonesia), he also took on lecturing on the subjects of Soil Mechanics and Land Surveying. His exposure of the field of Civil Engineering work starts as full-time Lead Engineer for an established Consulting Engineering Company for two (2) years before he left Indonesia to complete his Master’s Degree and Doctorate in the United States. Now back in Indonesia, he accepted teaching positions in his alma mater, Tarumanegara University, for undergraduate and graduate studies. Aside from teaching, he took on the role of Chief Engineering experienced in many social projects including world-renowned concert hall, places of worships, hospitals as well as commercial projects such as hotels and resorts, residential apartments, office buildings and industrial projects.
