Alfred Ukane is a very passionate and energetic Agricultural Service Provider, Consultant and Technical Advisor who believes that every Human on the planet has a right to high quality nutritious food and safe drinking water. He also believes that Africa stands a chance at feeding the world while economically empowering her growing young population through the same.Alfred Ukane is known for one of his favourite quote - "If we must empower farmers, we must first, educate them". He believes so much in the education of smallholder farmers about their farm business, climate change, farming techniques and linkages. With over a Decade of Practical field Experience and a strong academic background, He holds a Nigerian Certificate in Education (NCE) in Agricultural Education, a Bachelors of Agriculture in Agricultural Economics and Extension Services and currently undergoing a Masters Degree in Agricultural Economics.Alfred Ukane as served as a Technical Advisor for Development Organizations at different times such as Connexus Corporation, Partners for Development, Foundation for Partnership Initiative in the Niger Delta, Lite Africa, Cara Foundation among others. He is the Founder of CHUVAAK AGRO SERVICES. He has facilitated over 350 million naira Bank funded loans for Smallholder farmers and has trained over 3,500 smallholder farmers and MSMEs in the past 7 years.He is a certified Business Development Service Provider (BDSP) from the Enterprise Development Centre/Pan Atlantic University and SMEDAN. He has also been Trained as a Trainer for different developmental projects such as Micro-Enterprise Development by AgInvest funded by USAID, Nigeria Agricultural Enterprise Curriculum (NAEC) Developed by USAID and Partners for Development among others.HE TEACHES FARMERS HOW TO CONVERT THEIR FARMS TO FARM BUSINESSES
