As a community spokesperson, I have been quoted in outlets including The Guardian, Al Jazeera, The New Statesman, VICE, NPR, The Los Angeles Times, and have conducted dozens of interviews with local news outlets. As a representative of the largest Armenian-American grassroots community advocacy organizations in the United States, I have worked at the local, state and federal level to advance policy and legislation to protect the rights of Armenians impacted by Azerbaijan's aggression – including addressing the impact of Azerbaijan's ethnic cleansing of Nagorno-Karabakh's entire Armenian population. This has included work on legislation to enforce conditions on military assistance to Azerbaijan and Turkey, measures to hold authoritarian regimes accountable for human rights violations and war crimes including through the imposition of Magnitsky Act sanctions on officials responsible for violations of international law, and securing humanitarian assistance to displaced populations.
