A recent graduate from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, having a Master's in Public Administration and a Post-Baccalaureate Certification in Museum Studies, with a B.S. in Anthropology. Each graduate program was tailored to meet my specific skills. The MPA program was focused specifically on nonprofit administration, which led to a semester-long internship at a local nonprofit art center. Whereas the museum studies program built upon my existing knowledge gained from the B.S. in anthropology and allowed for more focus on the leadership and administration of museums, providing the opportunity to work in close proximity with the SIUE university museum. Culminating in an art gallery organized in collaboration with the museum director.Additionally I worked as both an Accounting Officer and Graduate Assistant in the International Affairs department at SIUE, regularly assisting students from several different countries on a day-to-day basis. Becoming very comfortable in an administrative atmosphere, very knowledgeable when working with office equipment, and I can confidently troubleshoot any issues due to my earlier completion of an IT support certification. I spent the majority of the assistantship working through several different software programs such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Canva to plan events for the international student population.
