Al has been involved in magic for over 25 years, performing for civic groups, youth organizations, schools, retirement communities and churches. As a retired Minister and Chaplain Educator, he brings empathy and compassion to his programs. By using inspiring stories, sprinkled with mystery and sparkling humor, he aims not only to entertain but also to go Beyond Illusion and explore truth from the supernatural world. Past Professional Experience:President and founding member as well as Credentialing Chair of Clinical Pastoral Education International (CPEI). Organizing Chair of the Academic Equivalency Committee of the College of Pastoral Supervision & Psychotherapy (CPSP); Past Accreditation Oversight Committee for CPSP; Past Chair of the Hospice & Palliative Care Certification committee of CPSP; Primary author of the certification standards for CPSP Clinical Chaplain in Hospice & Palliative Care subspecialty certification; Board Certified as Clinical Chaplain, as Pastoral Counselor, as a Diplomate in Clinical Pastoral Supervision, and as a Clinical Fellow in Hospice and Palliative Care with CPSP; formerly Board Certified Chaplain with the Board of Chaplaincy Certification, Inc.; a past member of the Association of Professional Chaplains (APC); certified in 1992 as a Board Certified Chaplain and Fellow of the College of Chaplains. Past State President of the Arkansas Association of Chaplains & Pastoral Counselors. Teaching Elder of Great Plains Presbytery. He and his wife Katy moved back to Little Rock after Al's retirement in order to be nearer family. They have five children, ten grandchildren, and four great-grand children.
