About Alex Hodgson

After graduating University, where I did an History degree in between playing in bands and being a radio DJ, I dilly-dallied for a few years more, before deciding I couldn't do an 'any-old job' and wanted a career instead.I decided that Marketing was the way for me - the mix of the creative and the critical really suited those two sides of my personality.I went part-time at work and set about gaining experience. Since then (2004) I've worked in a number of roles in a number of sectors, including public and private, big and small, regional and international, B2C and B2B. My goal is simply to keep learning and keep progressing, both at work and at home. Any day that goes by without learning something new is a wasted day.Specialties: I have some B2C experience but have largely worked in B2B companies, so I suppose I specialise in that. I also enjoy the strategic and analytical elements of marketing over the creative, but I do enjoy being involved in things that look wow too!
