• Overall ownership of product delivery in occupant safety and mine blast seating for successful military vehicle business.• Responsible for driving innovation to enhance safety, comfort, cost/weight and environment usability of Jankel catalogue mine blast seating products. • Developing bespoke, high complexity occupant safety products for military vehicle OEMs across a range of applications from tanks/turrets, transporter vehicles and rapid response vehicles.• Leading a team of multi-discipline engineers to satisfy all project requirements and deliverables.• Ensuring products are tested and certified to automotive (UNECE and FMVSS) and military safety standards (STANAG).• Providing all engineering content for seating/occupant safety business development and new contract bids.
