Responsible for all “small projects” covering all Solyndra’s five buildings in Fremont. Worked closely with engineering staff and lab owners for various projects including: lab moves & upgrades, equipment moves & installations, scrubber safety issues and numerous safety related upgrades/installations.• Assignment for ~6 months, did ~60 projects totaling ~$228K• Worked closely with customers to develop scope of work for them.• Prepared project schedules using Microsoft Project.• Solicited bids from contractors involved, awarded bids and wrote purchase orders.• Supervised all construction work for my projects.

Responsible for complete installation, convert in place and de-facilitization of semiconductor tools from construction design to finish. Two locations in Santa Clara: Intel D2 fab and Intel Mask Operation (IMO).• Installed/converted in place and removed over 100 semiconductor tools by developing detailed micro schedules for each tool and teaming with tool owners/factory; project construction costs were ~$25M.• Developed construction expectations with customers including factory tool owners and trade contractors by driving weekly meetings, resulting in an overall 20% reduction in the schedule.• Trained and coached (in one on one and group situations) over 20 construction department personnel on current factory practices/procedures contributing to the overall effectiveness of the department.• Developed a safety permit process (SIPP) with our safety team and facilities partners to improve our safety permitting process; the result contributed to over 300K safe man hours (~one year's worth).• Recognized a lack of procedures and developed the following: IMO Welding Procedures Around Gas Distribution Equipment, IMO Protocol Levels and Air Bearing Move In Procedures.• Wrote and delivered training packages for our Install Qual Construction Coordinators; then trained 15 people on those job expectations.• Sponsored over 350 construction contractors and vendors; this involved training correlation of facilities badges and all special accesses. I was considered the Santa Clara site badging expert "super user".

Responsible for all construction coordination of all contractors, vendors and tool owners for installation, convert in place and de-facilitization of semiconductor tools.• Installed 7 implanters simultaneously (tool purchase cost ~$2.5M each) without the facility being completely finished (no walls); these tools were on a very aggressive schedule, all were done safely, on time and on budget.• Installed and relocated more than 90 tools throughout the factory for a construction cost of ~$8.4M by focusing on detailed coordination of the schedules.• Trained 11 Install Qual Construction personnel on installation methodology at the D2 factory site and at our South San Jose site (Enzo), contributing to the overall effectiveness of the department.• Authored a Hydrogen Lateral Welding Procedure which was used to add ports to an existing Hydrogen line; cost savings were ~$250K because a new lateral line was not needed.

Responsibility for on time equipment repairs and preventive maintenance for Thin Films tool sets.• Senior Engineer for design and installation / qual of over 60 semiconductor clean room tool sets including all Thin Films, Implant, Process Vacuum Deposition, and some Planer tools. Teamed with factory industrial engineers, construction installation designers and directly with trade contractor personal.• Drove maintenance parts cost savings of +$100K by replacing consumable parts with longer lasting parts thus pushing out scheduled maintenance activities.• Extensive background in the semiconductor clean room tool fingerprinting; fingerprinted over 30 Thin Films tools including AMAT AMP, AMS, HDP, STI, SPT, SPT tool sets.
