Amalia SAL was founded in 1979 in Lebanon, for the purpose of trading pesticide, fertilizers, seeds and other related products involved in the farming cycle. Amalia primarily targets the local market, and it will continue to strengthen its presence in Lebanon, with a view to expand its operations regionally in the short to medium terms.

• Act as principal and conduit for cross-border commercial and hospitality real estate investments • Acquire high quality real estate and related assets, along with our operating partners and global capital sources• Source off and on market opportunities through a strong network of real estate owners and other third party contacts• Evaluate the financial feasibility of a transaction and devise a capital structure for the potential investment• Advise investors with respect to the retention of third party consultants• Manage third party advisors throughout the transaction process • Negotiate and prepare all agreements and other documentation relating to the potential investment• Liaise with the vendor and their advisors and attend all deal meetings to ensure continuity throughout the transaction• Target cities include supply-constrained, transparent markets in the US and Europe • Our global capital sources include SWF’s, merchant banks and family offices from the Middle East, Europe and N. America• Submitted USD 2 billion worth of bids on behalf of investors

• Source and analyze investment opportunities and develop financial models for real estate and private equity deals• Draft and present investment board memos for potential investments• Negotiate various deal related documents including SPA, JV agreements, advisory engagement terms, and lender term sheets• Work closely with advisors, accountants, lawyers and lenders to help complete transaction process efficiently• Conduct site visits and location inspections• Research market to understand investment risks including the economy, legal, and tax treatment• Ensure post-acquisition hand over to the asset management team• Communicate with sellers, brokers and investment partners to discuss opportunities

• Conduct financial due diligence, including review of essential financial documentation and reports• Carry out feasibility studies of real estate investments and projects• Conduct valuations of private and public companies in various sectors in the GCC• Prepare reports, presentation, and private placement memorandums as applicable• Formulate strategic plans for clients, and translate them into a comprehensive financial plan• Work closely with clients to deliver final products, and discuss the underlying assumptions• Conduct market research and spot trends in various industries

• Perform analysis of proxy statements (Def-14A) and 10-K of US corporations• Provide institutional investors with analysis and voting recommendation on various items submitted to shareholders’ vote

Update net asset values of hedge funds and perform statistical analysis to build the S&P hedge fund index
