As a core member of the environmental services department, I wear multiple "hats", encompassing various skills and responsibilities:- Business Developer:• Lead the development of concepts notes, technical, and financial proposals in line with the requirements of funding agencies and local entities• Stay up to date with the latest regulations, decisions, and trends in the carbon market landscape• Liaise with clients and establish clear expectations and requirements• Identify and contact leads for carbon consulting and for carbon audit• Create templates and tools for business activities, such as resource mapping, business analysis, etc• Prepare presentations for internal and external meetings• Prepare contracts, MoUs, and Service Agreements for experts, clients, and vendors• Attend events and establish connections with potential clients and partners• Coordinate the logistics of business trips and other related activities- Project Manager:• Lead the execution of carbon consulting projects• Prepare project plans and budgets utilizing MS Project and other PM tools• Follow through with plans and make sure deadlines are met• Identify, negotiate with, and contract external experts • Provide technical input in many fields including but not limited to climate policy, international reporting, and GHG inventorying• Report on project progress through professional reports and presentations- Audit Team Leader:• Lead the validation and verification activities for carbon offset projects under Gold Standard mechanism• Lead auditing juniors in performing auditing activities and provide insights to build their capacity• Produce final reports and reply to clarifications from the certification body- Quality Officer:• Support in the update of system documents including manuals, procedures, and records• Support in identifying gaps and their remedies for the alignment with new accreditation standards** Build capacity for newcomers to the team in all tasks above
