During my nursing internship at Johns Hopkins Aramco Hospital (JHAH), I had the invaluable opportunity to work alongside experienced preceptors in various clinical areas. My primary objective was to independently provide effective, safe, and quality healthcare within my specialty, as outlined in the Scope of Internship.One of the key aspects of my internship was the interaction with a diverse range of people, including patients, their families, and the healthcare team. This experience enhanced my competence in effectively communicating and collaborating with individuals from different backgrounds, ensuring a patient-centered approach to care.Reflective practice played a vital role in my learning and professional growth. It allowed me to critically examine my clinical practice, identify areas for improvement, and implement evidence-based care strategies. By adhering to internationally accepted standards, I ensured the delivery of high-quality care throughout JHAH.At JHAH, interns are expected to uphold professional conduct and attitude at all times.
