ABL has a Technical Appraisal Group, which has a unique position in the Banking Industry of Pakistan which is comprised of Industry Experts/Engineers of various fields including Environmental Engineers. The team regularly visits the obligors’ plants in the Bank’s portfolio to assess their operations, production capabilities, environmental and social risks. -Comprehensive review of project documents, including Technical Feasibility Reports, Environmental Impact Assessments, Financial Models, and contracts.-In-depth analysis and mitigation of project risks.-Nationwide plant visits to monitor technical and operational activities.-Evaluation of machinery and maintenance costs at project sites.-Assessment of project costs and valuations.-Analysis of technology and machinery specifications in various industries.-Periodic industry/sector analyses to stay updated on technological advancements.-Preparation of detailed reports for senior management, covering contractual analyses, potential risks, environmental considerations, and mitigation strategies.-Technical evaluations for credit approval procedures, aligning technical risks with financial performance to inform decision-making.

I've had the privilege of working across distinct departments, including Operations, Maintenance, and Development. During these roles, I carried out the following responsibilities:-Ensured quality and timely execution of civil works, material management, machinery provision, and workforce coordination.
