• Leading the Safety Culture. Ensuring staff comply to company Safety standards.• Ensuring standard work is completed in the defined method.• Ensuring behaviour is becoming to the company profile.• Ensuring production efficiency targets are met.• Liaising with Engineers to ensure breakdowns and machine limitations are addressed as soon as possible.• Improving the way, the company works but identifying problems and resolving them to the root cause.• Where controls are needed, ensuring the control is documented and is continually monitored to validate change.• Ensure staffing levels are adequate to complete the required production.• Ensuring current production levels are communicated to the Management team.• Conducting Tier one meetings and ensuring the actions agreed are completed in a timely manner.

• Lead and develop visual KPI’s for Team Leaders to present daily, to include headcount and overtime controls.• Measure and present daily KPI’s to include any continuous improvement plans. • Lead/Coach/Mentor and manage Team Leader performance delivery to include improvement plans.• Development of skilled workforce into JIT Environment standard practice.• Lead and drive a Total Safety culture using observation and feedback techniques and implementing improvements. • Work alongside other departments to identify and drive cross department training needs for development of Team Leaders and team members. • Organise and facilitate daily department meetings, ensuring effective and relevant communications throughout the areas of responsibility.

• To ensure a smooth Just-in-time (JIT) sequence to line operation and to take full responsibility of the shift in terms of management of staff.• To take full responsibility of the quality and product that is produced or picked within the shift in line with the Company’s quality systems, processes and procedures • To maintain and control all Quality Control Operation Sheet (QCOS) checks and documentation for the shift, if required for the area. • Manage, develop and motivate direct reporting staff.• To ensure good communication is given either verbally or written to all members of staff. • To work closely with other Shift Supervisors to ensure handovers are effective communications tool.

Team Leader duties included leading a team of 10-24 employees. Which included operators, pickers, FLT and CB drivers. Duties included TPM and QCOS checks alongside using GSIP system.Also was part of the pilot team for the launch of the new Euro 6 engine.

Production role which included assembling engine kits, and assemble the gearbox and ancillary parts to the engine – including starter motors, alternators, power take-off, pulleys, fan belts, as well as the wiring harness for the Vauxhall Vivaro X82 build.
