Job Description and Responsibilities: Maintenance of Electrical Equipment:Responsible for a range of tasks related to the repair, maintenance, and automation of computerized and PLC-controlled machinery. My role encompasses various aspects of electrical and electronic systems in a ceramic tiles manufacturing plant. Here's a detailed breakdown of my responsibilities:• Organize, supervise and execute corrective and preventive maintenance and repair activities for electrical and electronic equipment in computerized and PLC-controlled ceramic tiles process plant.• Ensure that maintenance staff is trained in complex maintenance activities and adheres to standard operating procedures.• Design and develop software and electrical control circuits for automatic machines based on PLC with HMI, electronic, and relay logic control.• Modify existing machine control software and control circuits to meets operational goals, enhance productivity and product quality, machine operation and safety.• Perform maintenance and calibration of electronic instruments and test equipment.• Supervise the installation, commissioning, and testing of electrical and electronic systems for new machinery.• Prepare circuit diagrams and instruction manuals for new designs, modifications, maintenance, and repair procedures.• Respond to emergencies, directing staff and utilizing resources for repairs while ensuring community safety. Ensures compliance with all applicable codes and regulations and advises senior management on requirements.• Supervise and manage inventory for electrical and electronic spare parts through imports, from local markets, in-house development, and outside development. Maintains material and equipment supplies by regularly monitoring inventory levels, anticipating supply needs, placing and expediting electrical material orders and reviewing and approving invoices.• Handle correspondence with local suppliers, vendors, and utility services providing agencies like WAPDA.• Engage in correspondence with Foreign Machine Manufacturers & Suppliers for remote assistance and spare parts.• Provide technical support to Maintenance for AC and DC electronic drives, Programmable Logic Controllers, and control systems• Replacement of obsolete technology for which replacement parts are difficult or impossible to obtain.
