As a student at Purdue University, I was an active member of my sorority, Zeta Tau Alpha. I was an active member of the Purdue University Pre-Law Society, as well. I was the Vice President of the Purdue University College Republicans and interned with both the IN State House of Representatives, as well as with the IN House Republican Campaign Committee during my time at Purdue. I was able to graduate a year early with a bachelor's of science in Psychology, as well as a minor in political science, and am now pursuing a JD.

While interning with the House Republican Campaign Committee, I was able to enhance the connections I had previously made with leaders in the IN Republican Party. I utilized and improved my communication skills through door to door surveying and data collection and learned time management skills through making my own schedule. I set my own goals and completed them in a timely manner and worked closely with several campaign professionals.

As a legislative intern during the 2013 legislative session, I worked for three Republican state representatives. I managed their schedules, handled nearly all of their constituent correspondence, worked with legislative liaisons, as well as with influential leaders throughout the Statehouse. I was able to attend several legislative events, I attended session on a daily basis, and became well versed in legal and political language and jargon. I took the opportunity to network with an abundance of state representatives, lobbyists, and staff members.
