Being drawn to helping others led me to pursue my degree in social work from Champlain College and work in healthcare.Starting my career as a social worker, I built a foundation in working with various populations. I honed a range of skills, including building rapport, fostering trust, active listening, empathy, community engagement, crisis intervention, and advocacy. While my career has since transitioned to other areas of focus, I found social work rewarding.In my current role, I'm proud to be part of Mass General Brigham Emerging Technologies and Solutions (MGBETS). At #MGBETS, we're committed to evaluating, piloting, and creating outcomes around emerging digital technologies to support our organization's strategic missions. As a communications officer at MGBETS, my job is to raise awareness and understanding of new digital technologies. I create campaigns and content to showcase our innovations, helping to promote our mission of improving healthcare with advanced technology.Fluent in English, Portuguese, and the fine art of making things happen!
