Focal Points and Responsibilities • Monitoring and reporting on Well Engineering budgets• Identifying and estimating cost of specified growth• Implementing and monitoring processes and financial controls to ensure Governance & Assurance objectives are met.• Verify invoices ensuring they are based on approved rates, are supported by required back-up documentation, are arithmetically correct and are coded correctly• Cost Control of all Well Engineering Operations.• Estimating Final Well Costs, agreeing AFE structure of the Drilling program and putting the necessary AFE’s in place – incl. all backup.• Analyses contracts and manages daily spend.• Creates a suitable cost tracker• Produces weekly cost management reports• Determines trends and forecasts costs based on predetermined formulae.• Management of accruals• Ensure that any non-SAP based cost models are reconciled on a monthly basis to SAP.• Participate in drilling operations meetings and establish communication with Finance on a monthly basis.• Ensure financial compliance with terms of relevant Production Sharing Contract in order to maximise opportunity for cost recovery.• Contract Spend Monitoring / Vendor analysis. This will include verifying AFE coding for all Well Engineering invoices.• Work closely with the Finance team on reviewing monthly accruals/VOWD and ensure these are in line with both BG accounting policy and IFRS.• Provide monthly cash call information for necessary expected cash payments by AFE.• Implement best practices / lead continuous improvements. Write / Implement Well Engineering Costing Procedures.• Inventory management, including liaising regularly with [warehouse/site manager].• Facilitate physical stock counts and preparation of stock reconciliations• Compiling full Well Reconciliations, and participate as necessary in the process to financially close-out wells
