I am an alumnus of Ryerson's Graphic Communications Management Program. Throughout my 4 years of experience as an undergrad, I had gained valuable knowledge and skills that establish the overall foundation of the printing industry. These include print production, web and graphic design, pre-press, project management and how to operate numerous printing technologies for print jobs. This eventually paid off for me as I am currently working in Lorpon Labels as a die-cutting Press Operator. In addition, I have completed a part-time course with Seneca College that depicts my primary interest in GCM which is consumer packaging. One core aspect of the program that really stood out to me was the heavy emphasis on the packaging of everyday printed items and their overall environmental impact. I have demonstrated my passion with die-line creation and packaging design while taking into consideration the environmental factors including recyclability and packaging customization to make it appear more eco-friendly. I am currently looking forward to any entry level role where I can apply these (or otherwise aforementioned) skills in the workplace with a degree of effectiveness.
Listed skills include Teaching, Print Design, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Indesign, and 13 others.
