I launched and Co-Directed the inaugural Short+Sweet Film Festival. I ran the festival in Sydney which has since rolled out at Short + Sweet Festival cities around the world, culminating in the International Gala Final in Hollywood.

My role involved liaising with the media regarding all things roads, buses, ferries and trains across NSW. I also broadcast regular live reports and crosses with various radio stations around the state.The Transport Management Centre is linked to the NSW Roads and Maritime Services state government department.

I have made the move from Smooth FM to team Nova! I am presenting the news across various day parts and markets.

I started with DMG radio when the station was still Sydney's 95.3 and was then a part of the team that launched Smooth FM. It was incredibly exciting to be a part of the first station launch in Sydney in 10 years.Being a part of the More Music Breakfast show with Ed Philips has been a real highlight. As was hosting the pre carols entertainment at Carols in the Domain. That entailed interviewing most of the carols performers throughout the day on the Smooth FM stage and also MCing the Channel Seven VIP marquee.

I loved my job as the breakfast news presenter at SAFM. It entailed doing the breakfast news and also some on the road reporting covering big local stories.

I worked with some incredible clients during my time in PR, including the Australasian College of Dermatologists and the Sisters of St Joseph.The ACD always had a great story to tell, whether it was joining the campaign to ban solariums, or introducing Australia to the founders of Botox use for cosmetic reasons at the Annual Scientific Meeting. Working with the Sisters of St Joseph was a very special time. I won them as a client during a very crucial period, which was the lead up to World Youth Day celebrations in Sydney. Planning the media campaign with the Sisters was such a wonderful experience. The Sisters were also gearing up for the Beatification of Mary MacKillop and sharing the stories of those who believed they had received a miracle from praying to Mary in the lead up to her Sainthood.

I loved my time working in breakfast radio in Darwin. Being a regional station, to say we all had to "multi task" would be an understatement. No such thing as breakfast show producers. My co-host and I covered everything, whether that was lining up talent to interview, writing comedy skits and deciding on the hot topics of the day. I was also the Promotions Manager and the entire department, organising all of the station events, sourcing prizes, promotion proposals for clients, website updates etc.

I was a part of the team that launched Free 967 in Dubai. It was the English speaking radio station of the Arabian Radio Network, which also included a Hindi and Arabic station. We launched all three stations on the same day. It was an incredible experience working alongside colleagues from such different cultures and backgrounds. Our studios were all side by side with glass windows so you could see them broadcasting in their native language and sometimes hear the vastly different music they were playing. I started as a radio announcer but our news presenter resigned and the spot was there for the taking so I put my hand up and this was my first experience learning the art of radio news.

This was my first foray into radio and it was breakfast radio at that. My performing and acting background, my stint as a tour guide in Europe and an inaugural Climb Leader on the Sydney Harbour Bridge were the skills and background I brought to the role. It wasn't until there was major flooding in the district that I fully understood the power of radio. Through broadcasting, we were able to connect people who were stranded on properties and roads and who couldn't reach their loved ones. We were also a real companion to those who found themselves stuck, playing song requests while also broadcasting vital information. It was an incredible lesson on the power of media and the place it has in local communities.
