I am currently a third-year at the Georgia Institute of Technology studying Business Administration with a concentration in Information Technology Management and a minor in Industrial Design. I am now realizing the effect my past and ongoing experiences are having on my interests and passions. I come from an international background - my father was born in Canada, my mother was born in Germany, and my grandfather recently moved back to his native Chile. I believe that it’s the multitude of languages, food, and cultures I was always exposed to that drove me to a study abroad program with Georgia Tech. I spent twelve weeks in Europe where I was able to further broaden my perspective and gain new experiences.My time at Georgia Tech so far has also helped me discover very specific interests. I have developed afoundation in Business and Data Analytics. I thrive on turning complex data into actionable insights, and I am continuing to hone my skills in data collection, analysis, and visualization. As a member of Epic Intentions, a Pro-Bono consulting group that allows me to give back to the community, I have had the opportunity to collaborate with non-profits to address their unique needs and challenges. I have taken part in developing strategies to maximize their impact and support their missions.In addition to my analytical side, I have always found an interest in music. My role at the studentradio station involves managing and optimizing the technical infrastructure that keeps our broadcastsrunning smoothly. My position as an operator also allows me to explore and expand my musical tastes by introducing me to smaller artists that I would not have otherwise had the opportunity to discover.
