As Izmır Volunteer Team , we visited elders who lost their spouses or loved ones and feel lonelinessregularly in order to stop them from feeling isolated and depressed. Not only they became happy, but alsowe learned a lot from them. Few things can replace the privelege of listening to experienced people telltheir life stories. By organising outdoor activities, we also provided them with the opportunity to meetother people with similar life conditions.
