The Tomorrow's Leaders Gender Scholars (TLS) Program, a collaboration between the Department of State, the Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs (NEA/AC), and The American University in Cairo (AUC), offers full-tuition scholarships and various training opportunities for undergraduates. Its objective is to empower students to become gender-sensitive, civic-minded individuals equipped with academic knowledge, research, and leadership skills to advocate for policy reform aligned with Women, Peace and Security (WPS) and Gender Equity and Equality Action (GEEA) Fund principles. Additionally, the TLS program is tasked with supporting AUC's gender mainstreaming goals and initiatives.

Thrilled to reflect on a transformative internship at ProMech. Over five intense days, immersed in CATIA, gaining proficiency in sketching, part design, assembly, drafting, surface design, and reverse engineering. Hands-on experience honed technical skills and provided valuable industry insights. Grateful for Nayera Bakkar's guidance and AUC employment fair for the opportunity. Exposure and mentorship at ProMech enriched knowledge and commitment to the field.
