As a Connect Groups Pastor, I brought vision and strategy to over 70 groups and over 100 leaders of said groups. I brought vision for a new way of running groups across the multi-site church and strategically implementing that vision. Through my work the uptake of groups grew from 40% uptake to 65%.

As North East Scotland Coordinator I was tasked with equipping local church teams in the use of the Alpha Course and specifically the Alpha Film Series, a new product designed at reaching more people and growth. I would have been responsible for developing leaders by supplying training through local church contexts; Partnership working with the wider Alpha team in Scotland and the UK, as well as churches, individuals and stakeholders.Achievements included: Promoting the Alpha Film Series and Alpha Youth Series in a variety of diverse churches, organisations and individuals; Developing young leaders to grow in confidence to use the Alpha Youth Series and invite their friends to attend; Trained churches, individuals and organisations in running Alpha, including partaking in Global Alpha Training in Russia.

As North of Scotland Manager I managed 4 staff in Aberdeen and Dundee, helping them to engage with local councils and churches to set up projects aimed at eradicating homelessness. I brought vision and drive to the North of Scotland team to promote the charity and awareness through multiple contexts.I worked with the central fundraising team to secure funds for various contracts. I worked with various different partner organisations such as local councils and churches, as well as individual stakeholders.During my tenure I helped establish two successful weekly drop in projects in Aberdeen City Centre. I also helped developed summer activities for the Wednesday drop in at Kings Church Aberdeen, which helped develop soft skills for service users.I helped pioneered a project in partnership with Robert Gordon's University, Gray's School of Arts and SHMU FM to create a project for those attending the drop in projects to express themselves and their journey through art in various mediums, including printing, audio CD, portraits and spoken word.Secured funding for an Employability worker to help service users back into work.

Meeting with individuals 1-to-1 and helping them move from temporary accommodation to their permanent residency.Through signposting, advocacy and knowledge helping those service users move away from homelessness by dealing with the issues that have led to them being in that situation.Working in the drop in sessions to advocate for people to various organisations and situations in order to prevent people becoming homeless.
