I began studying Mechanical Engineering at Marmara University in Istanbul in 2007. During my university years, I worked for a major local travel agency to support myself in Turkey’s largest city. I developed a strong interest in renewable energy systems and applications, which led to my graduate thesis titled “From Fossil Age to Renewable Age: Dynamics of Wind Turbine Technology.” My goal was to highlight the significance of renewable energy and emphasize wind turbine technology as a key solution for global energy and environmental challenges.After a two-year break following my bachelor’s degree, I pursued a master’s degree with the aim of deepening my knowledge in renewables and becoming an expert in the field. My research topic for my master’s is “Zero Energy Building Design,” where I aim to explore effective ways to integrate renewable energy into everyday living.During my training, I gained experience working with a steel pipe manufacturer (HATBORU) and a non-ferrous continuous system manufacturer (Emek Teknik). I also volunteered with various associations in Turkey, notably EUROSOLAR.Since January 2018, I have been working as the Lebanon Country Manager for Visa for the Globe, the authorized visa application office for the Turkish Embassy in Beirut.
