A contributor to making the Earth a nicer place to live on. I am a hydroclimatologist. My experience and interest are in land-atmosphere interactions and their role in the water cycle. I am interested in doing research on extreme events and in particular droughts which are known to be relatively silent events with huge economic, societal, and ecosystem impacts. I leverage the data science tools specifically programming in Python to implement various resources of data including ground observations, satellites, and models to better understand the physical phonemes on the Earth.
