Over the past two decades, I have collected a great amount of customer service experience, but have also delved into different facets of a broad industry. I started off in a supermarket environment, and picked up quickly enough to get promoted to a front end supervisor position within a year, and worked hard to keep the ball rolling as smoothly as possible on my watch. This lunged me forward into problem-solving situations with customers who needed assistance at any time, while multitasking as one of the heads of a store department.I moved on to college, but worked within the school, printing out design projects at their service bureau. Following graduation, while balancing a handful of animation jobs, I also entered the food industry, and I've been SafeServ certified for a few years now.I also have experience as a concierge in the world of hospitality, which taught me many new lessons on providing excellent service, but also gave me a brush of administrative work not unlike my first job at the supermarket. In recent years, I have settled into an enjoyable position as barista for a neighborhood café. It has allowed me a slightly slower pace with customer service, while getting to perfect food-related skills, which I get to take home with me. However, enough years have gone by, and I feel it's time for me to spread my wings again. I feel I do well handling myself in a customer service environment, and I feel I have the skills to get into more administrative work. I would like to put those skills to better use.
