The Regional Center for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (RCREEE) is an intergovernmental organization that aims to enable and increase the adoption of renewable energy and energy efficiency practices in the Arab region. RCREEE teams with regional governments and global organizations to collaborate, initiate, and lead clean energy policy dialogues, strategies, technologies, and capacity development to increase Arab states’ share of tomorrow’s energy. I was contracted as an expert, Part of my duties and responsibilities are• Provides a comprehensive analysis and evaluation of policy and market transformation measures adopted by RCREEE member states in the national energy efficiency and renewable energy action plans • Provides effective support to RCREEE member states in their efforts to promote renewable energy and energy efficiency focusing on energy planning, overcoming market barriers and challenges through formulating policies and support schemes, identifying financing mechanism, providing capacity building and training activities• Formulates clear and comprehensive recommendations on the improvement of renewable energy and energy efficiency in RCREEE’s member states with a focus on the specificities of each region• Prepares and develops studies, reports, analytical briefs of publishable quality for internal and external stakeholders• Represents RCREEE on issues related to sustainable energy at public events, at meetings with RCREEE member states and partners in national and regional conferences and seminars

They are working in three areas consulting, Human Capital and corporates Assessments. I cooperated with Quick-wins for my Final MBA Project. I was responsible for their expansion project in Africa and my deliverables include- African markets survey to find out the best country for expansion- Used structured business problem-solving method (The Minto Pyramid) to determine the best method for expansion - Designed Entering strategy to overcome entry barriers and liability of newness - Financial modeling to find out the viability (NPV, IRR) and compare the Expected EBITDA with other branches EBITDA- Set indicators to be used multi-criteria decision-making tool (TOPSIS) to rank countries preference- Designed the best business model according to the potential market

ECS is an authorized distributor For Jenbacher gas engine And LG absorption chiller. As a technical manager, I work with customers to investigate the potential saving and benefits from applying distributed generation with cogeneration and Trigeneration and utilize waste heat from different sources (Engine, incinerator…). Also investigating the availability and feasibility for biogas, Landfill gas, Gasification projects and Special gas utilization (Coke oven gas, Converter Gas...). Waukesha Gas engine has the largest population in Egypt. Engines exist mainly in Oil & Gas Sector (offshore and onshore) with a smaller share in the industrial sector. In HCH I got introduced to oil & Gas technology. I had to work with different systems (Engine coupled with Compress, clutches and beam pumps, power generation and cogeneration). Besides being the technical advisor for the customers, In addition, I was the technical advisor for the other accounts in HCH (3M, Emerson, Hurghada for tourism). Consukorra was the first company to introduce the Absorption Chiller in Egypt. Very few people were capable to deal with this technology. I used to maintain both Absorption chiller and diesel engine. I also used to maintain the first Cogeneration plant to produce Chilled water using Diesel Engine Exhaust. In addition, I participated in the installation of the largest small scale cogeneration project in the private sector at that time.
