The journey to becoming the CEO of a large, niche manufacturing business spans the last 20 years. My professional academic background, along with my undergraduate degree in Mathematics, provided me the training to apply a structured and methodical approach to work. Achievements and milestones: • Moved Capital Envelopes (CE) away from conventional printing to envelope manufacturing at the end of 1999 and grew the company to be the largest envelope manufacturing company in the MEA region with a current annual production capacity in excess of 1 billion envelopes. Today, CE is a one-stop shop for all envelope needs.• Entered into a strategic partnership with Du Pont in 2003, a world leader in packaging materials and solutions. Signed a trade license agreement to manufacture specialized envelopes using Tyvek, a synthetic material made from high density polyethylene fibers.• Invited to become the first “non-European” member of FEPE – The European Federation of Envelope Manufacturers, in 2014. • Expanded the business internationally by establishing Standard Envelopes Inc. in 2014.• Started diversification into specialized e-commerce packaging solutions from 2019.• Signed a distributor agreement in 2020 with Sealed Air Corporation, one of the largest producers of protective and food packaging in the world and the inventors of Bubble Wrap. The agreement enables CE to distribute protective packaging equipment and material in the MEA region with an emphasis on providing specialized solutions for the booming e-commerce industry.

Standard Envelopes Inc. was set up as a trading company in 2014 to supply to the local US market. Later, in 2017, it was converted into a manufacturing facility. Today Standard Envelopes employs twenty-five full time employees.

Responsibilities included:o Feasibility studies for several banks including Abu Dhabi Islamic Banko Involved in Financial Audits for Etisalat, Allianz, Unikai to name a few.
