Assist the Vice Minister for Tax Policy in prioritizing and implementing tax administration and policy reforms. In addition, I am leading the team specialized in measuring the impact of new tax policies on revenues and on taxpayers behaviours.

• Analyzing and investigating the current Tax systems in Egypt (Income Taxes and VAT).• Team member who is in charge of implementing VAT in Egypt.• Evaluating VAT administration in Egypt.• Measuring the economic effects of current and expected tax policy.• Modernizing Egyptian tax systems to enhance country's revenues.

- Provide advice on ways to improve the accuracy, presentation and comparability of data for the North African and MENA regions.- Create tables and charts for documents and publications and prepare reports on both tax revenue statistics and other related topics.- Participate in internal OECD capacity building meetings, workshops and seminars (Kenya 2018), as well as the meetings of Working Party No.2 on Tax Policy and Statistics.- Review the Egyptian Revenue Statistics in accordance with the OECD classification.- Assisting and reviewing the development of the VAT revenue ratio for Egyptian tax revenues from 2000 to 2017.- Presenting the analysis and the development the changes in the Egyptian VAT revenue development during 2000 to 2017 in order to understand their policy, administrative and economic causes.- Provide analysis of Egyptian government departments in charge of tax issues with analytical support in respect of these statistics.- Presented an overview of Egyptian tax policy settings at internal seminar for colleagues across Tax Policy and Administration departments in OECD.

• Auditing and ensure that large and medium taxpayers are in line with statutory legislation and regulations for different kinds of taxes (Corporate, Personal, Payroll, Withholding, Stamp and Property taxes).• Discover and analysis the taxpayers’ international transactions in order to discover tax evasion and illegal avoidances. • Manage the examination of transfer pricing, tax treaties and international taxation rules.• Familiar with all income tax disputes under income tax law no. 157 of 1981 and law no. 91 of 2005 such as Internal Committee, High Committee and Court Appeals.• Leading a group of senior examiners in many cases trying to accomplish the department targets and goals in short and long term objects.
