- Responsible for creating new customer accounts and maintaining customer files periodically for both local and export customers- Coordinate with the sales department for opening new customer accounts, monitoring and follow up collection- Develop and communicate re-payment options and re-scheduling of overdue accounts- Provides a detailed forecasted collection report bi-monthly and makes comparison of actual and forecasted collection report- Prepares aging analysis report daily with the status of overdue and customers under legal cases- Responsible for meeting targets in monthly receivables and keeping bad debt to a minimum- Notify debtors by letter, email, or telephone call of upcoming or outstanding invoices- Initiate legal action against debtors who evade or refuse repayment according to the terms and conditions- Arrange for account statements to be forwarded to clients each month, updating records when necessary- Establish and maintain regular communications with clients to facilitate periodic payments
