Dr. Ali Hatami has more than 25 years of experience working on different legal matters including Oil and Gas Contracts, Joint Ventures, Foreign Investment and complex commercial transaction such as mergers and acquisition, lisencing transactions, investment partnership or alliances. He concentrates his practice on Trade Law matters with particular focus on International Trade Law. He advises lenders, sponsors, investors, developers, Management Executive and underwriters, together with major multinational companies on different legal matters arising out of or related to their business. Prior to establishing his Own International Law Firm, Dr. Hatami was an associate at another large national firm in Iran. In his early career, he spent five years (1998-2005) with Dr. Behrooz Akhlaghi’s Law firm and he gained precious experience in Oil and Gas Projects, Water Transfer Projects, Project Waterloo, Mining Projects, Project Finances, LNG Projects, Joint Ventures and rendering Legal Advises in different subjects of International Trade Law.As an associate professor, Dr. Hatami serves courses and thesis guidance in different subjects such as trade law, International Arbitration, Alternative Dispute Resolution, E-Commerce, Energy Law and Oil and Gas Contracts at Shahed, Tehran and Islamic Azad Universities.
